Hi folks.

I have never been to Corpus Christi before and I am looking for some "fun" fishing locations. We'll have a couple of dogs in tow, not focused on any single type or size of fish, just looking to have a little fun and relax.

Easy access sites, average chance of fish, a chance to enjoy some woderful sea air and a chance to snoop out a few sites for the future would be welcome.

Any information for next week would be great as well as any tips on camping sites or even nice places to eat!

Thanks in advance!!

Nigs

Mmm Corpus!

Places to eat

Water Street Oyster Bar
Blackbeards
Snoopy's
Republic of Texas

For fishing..
I would drive 20 miles to Port Aransas hop a boat and head towards the North Jetties. Then I would move to Packery Channel and fish there..

but.. are you bringing a boat?

No no boat, soon I hope!

That's the second time I've heard about the Oyster bar, must be good!

Any wade spots around the bay?

Thanks

Nigs

Wow, thanks man!

That will sure help us both a load!

With the pets and a very few chances to get to the coast any help is ALWAYS welcome.

PS, liked the Texas Surf and Bay Lures link. Answered a lot of questions for me as fishing over here is LOADS different from my side of the pond!

I used to live in Corpus. Best seafood by far is at King's Inn, but that is about 60 miles south near Riviera. In Corpus itself, try Two Georges which has some family style plates like King's Inn.
