I have a fishing tournament on Lake Tyler on the 21st and 22nd of October. Never been on the lake but do know it has 2 sides. We are fishing one side on Saturday and the other on Sunday. Can anyone share some information about lake conditions and how I should attack this lake.

Lake Fork Live Magic Shad in watermelon red and golden shiner on a 5/0 Falcon weighted hook. We had 13.38 last saturday, but should have had around 18. Lost 2 toads one to the TM and one that buried itself in the grass.

Only grass is around the banks. Not Hydrilla mostly milfoil and whatever that grass is that grows around the banks(LOL). Topwaters near where the bank grass and docks meet up then skip flukes under docks. Focus on docks that have 10' in front of them. Better fish are in 8' or so early and then move up to 4 - 6' under docks when the sun is shinning but if cloudy they will stay near the ends of the docks. Lots of bait fish in the mouths as well as backs of coves but haven't seen a lot chasing them.

yes LOTS of baitfish, but we did find a small school chasing some of the baitfish. Put our first 3 keepers in the boat from the same little point in 4 minutes. 1 on a spinnerbait, and 2 on LFT swimbait in Golden Shiner
