I'm looking for some good spots to catch catfish from the bank on lake lewisville, or if there are any ponds near by. Any one have any suggestions? thanks

Don't tell anyone, but the park in Oak Point has good bank fishing. Especially next month when the weather starts to cool down.

the banks next to Shady shores boat ramp are pretty good. People there all the time fishing.

there is a little park in Little Elm just before you cross the bridge on the right. Winter time the catfishing is good there. Lots of channels and plenty of blues. Try danny kings punch bait or shad if you have a cast net. good luck

After reading some of these comments, and Im not a guide or expert just an avid cat fisherman on LL, get a good map of Lake lewisville. Look for where channels come up to banks with flats nere by. One spot in particuler is in Highland village on Highalnd Village road on ross point. many cats have been pulled outa there. I would reccomend chummming with spoiled milo or throw some range cubes(20% portein) to atracted the cats. Good luck

also, some friends of mine have been catchin cats at the boat ramp at Tower Bay around9pm-12am. they seem to be there once it gets dark for a couple of hours then leave.
