Thursday 9/27: Had an early morning trip. Got to the first hump at daybreak to find the fish STACKED up. Past history has shown that they would not be there long. All 3 Customers dropped TNT spoons down and hooked up with Sandies and Junior Hybrids. Had two live baits down and they got hammmered by 22 inch Hybrids. The bite was fast and furious for 40 minutes and then BAM...they were done. Spent the rest of the morning moving from spot to spot. About mid-morning found em again, added another 10 big sandies to the box. a fair trip, 30 nice Sandies, 2 over Hybrids, and 6 Juniors. Saw a guy at the ramp with 25 Crappie, not one under 12 inches...might have to check that out! 9/27 PM: Picked up a long time customer and his dad. Spent ALOT of time moving from spot to spot. I Finally decided to sit on an area the fish SHOULD be coming through. The graph showed a fish here and there, then lit up like July fourth. Had 4 live baits down, 3 doubled over with Hybrids. Big fish was close to 7 pounds with 5 others close to 5. When not dashing to a Hybrid, both clients kept fishing with TNT's and added 15 or so Sandies to the box. Typical Hybrid bite, Nothing for a few hours then 30 minutes of pure mayhem! Ended the day with 6 over Hybrids, 4 Juniors and 15 Sandies. No sign of turnover yet... Have the sandies/hybrids been schooling any out there? Last year in Oct. you could set you watch to them schooling. Hope that happens again this year.

Great job Keith, Was out Sat. early morning until about noon with nephew. Never had a bite. Hopped around to several places, drifting, but no luck on hybrids. Met some guys at ramp that had fished under the bridge for crappies. They had about a dozen or so real nice ones. They were more than happy to take leftover shad off my hands. Hope they do better with them than I did. (they're going catfishing I'm sure)

Thanks boys! I think that BP is a lot like her sister to the south! (EM). It can be great one day slow the next. There is no sign of turnover but have noticed some dirty water on the south side. TB, Some schooling but very little predicability, I bet when it cools off they will get after it. BT, we are good to go! Thanks for the thoughts, just got in from the funeral. BTW, I told Suzanne that if something should happen to me I want you to do the eulogy!...no pressure! MT, Good to see you also, the wind did get up quick! BLK LUND, Did not get out this weekend, had a rare weekend off. I did fish friday evening, got one over, 2 juniors and 10 Sandies, all in a thirty minute window, could not find them after that...such is fishing this time of year. I have heard several reports of nice Crappie being caught...Hmmmmm. Keith www.lakebridgeportguideservice.com

Very little water volume being let out, (I drive it everyday). I am sure a few Hybrids have made it down there. If there were more David would have found them by now! I know for a fact that some of the Smallmouth have migrated there. The Hybrids seem to stay put when the water level is up. Keith www.lakebridgeportguideservice.com
