Hello,I went out Wed.and Thurs. mornings on the river and we caught around 100 fish total. We caught Reds up to 28"Specks up to 20" and Flounder up 20". The best bite was on "GULP" shrimp (new penny). I also caught fish on a red Hoginar. the fish were in 5-8ft of water.

Hey bars, went out this weekend both days and tore up the trout. I could not keep them off a chart/blk Spook jr. I was on the river again.I will be out Friday morning in a 24ft Fishmaster and in my 18ft Mako sat/sun. We will be up by Orange unless the weatheris nice and then I will be fishing the la side of the lake.

Fished south end, LA side with little success Saturday. Dozen flounder with only 3 above 14". Picked up a few rat reds along the banks also. My first trip to the south end, couldn't find much water deeper than 3-4'

Fished La side of lake last weekend and caught several flounder. we did catch afew specks and 4 slot reds.Gwlee, where did you fish on the south end, there is water down there from 4 to 30ft. The old river channel runs just north of the causway nad south of the reef. Most flounder are being caught around the mouth of bayous.

I launched at Umprhey park and followed the LA coast line up the lake so I didn't get out in the lake much. We caught our flounder just outside the mouths of the bayous right on the bank. Had to hit 'em in the head to get a bite. I'm going to hit the north end in about 10 days
