I saw a twin engined tri-toon on Conroe a couple years back that I would guess was going about 55-60 up close to StowAWay marina.

When you see a pontoon shooting rooster tails and chine walking it'll sure make you do a double then triple take then start laughing.

I believe it. I had a bass buggy, 20 foot pontoon, sporting one of the old 115 Mercs. The thing was hell to start but once she got warmed up it was spooky fast. I probably should not mention the rated HP for the boat.

That video was on BoatTest.com as an article about the motors. So before you just throw out an opinion without really knowing facts...there are people crazy enough to go for those records.
