Has anyone found any Hybrids at Bridgeport? Drift fished with shad Friday evening and again Sunday evening with no results. Didn't really see many people on the lake which was nice.
Hung around the Island one night and around the Dam area and mid lake humps the next. Seemed to mark alot of fish but no takers. Didn't see any surfacing either. Lake seems to have settled after filling up but fishing the Hybrids is becoming a mystery. Anyone doing anything on North end of lake?
After finally locating some Shad to castnet I felt like things were in the bag. Man was I wrong.

Last several trips:

9/18- 7 overs, 15 unders

9/19- 8 overs, 12 unders

9/20- 16 unders, 40 Sand Bass

9/22- 10 overs, 14 unders, 10 Sand Bass

9/23- 4 overs, 20 unders, 25 Sand Bass

Over: 20 plus inches, Under: 18 or under (Juniors)

Thats' the score, There are plenty of Hybrids to be caught. This was not easy by any means, had to look, be patient and hit them hard when I found em!

Thanks Keith,
You've restored some enthusiasm. I can definetly work harder at it.

Can't wait for the unders to graduate to overs!! Haven't been out in a while but great to hear you're still catching fish. Should be out soon hopefully.

The lake is very healthy right now! It has filled up nicely! As you said the Hybrids can be a mystery. They really do have a whole new lake to wander around in!

I have always felt that Hybrids bite when they want to, not out of anger or reflex, just a switch that says eat! Some of the above trips went 2 hours without a bite and then... Wham! They would light us up!
