In between catfishing, see post in Catfishing section, we looked for the Whites. A little better than last weekend however, still not up to the "normal" level we expect on this great lake. Most fish were small. We did manage to find a nice school of magnums in 14ft of water just off Windsock just before dark. They were one right after the other. I used 37 gallons of gas looking for them. Is it me, or do the rest of you see a LOT of bait action at the surface? It seems like everywhere we went we saw this. The shad was flipping everywhere but we could not find any fish around them. This is so weird. Enjoy, Capt. Rick

jrtexas, what were you trolling with? We have not trolled that much this summer but after your post, we might get it going again. I use a diver and a saltwater lead head jig rigged with a chartruese sassy shad. This rig gets me to around 15-17 feet. What depth were you guys trolling? Capt. Rick
