Ok, there has been some talk about getting to know one another. Not just on the forum but also out at the lake. I figured I start a post introducing ourselves. (Also gives us a place to talk about fishing while we are waiting for the lake to open…)
Any one going to fish Granger thru the winter? I am planning on it, if nothing more then just mapping.

I'll be out there. Can't wait to catch some crappie. Freezer is getting low on fish. White Shallowsport with a Suzuki. Sabot I think the corps banned side scan sonar from Granger Lake........

Deer hunting for me, maybe a little crappie and blue cat fishing on the weekdays. Sabot, I can't wait to see all the new toys on your boat too.

the fine mexican place I went to this moring was out of tacos, so I got some mahi-mahi burritos instead. That should make the old, stinky, wrinkled up, bow-legged, foul mouthed, broke, cheap, bitchy old man happy!

 Are you referring to Bofly?  Did someone say... "Taco" + "Cold Beer"? As for my boat. It looks a bit differant. I decided to change it a bit to get better gas milage. Just got back from Grand Canyon this afternoon, and was hoping to find that the lake was open. I am ready to hit the water and stay all winter. Tan 15' Glasstream bassboat w/48 Johnson.
Probably the saddest thing you will ever see is a mosquito sucking on a mummy, Forget it little friend!! :-(

I'll be there...used to fish Granger at least 3 days a week when it was open. I will be in a 16' Alumacraft jon semi-v hull with a white 40 horse Johnson.

What's happening GG. Doubt I will fish it much during the winter, but I'm going to try it as soon as it opens. I've been trying to figure out Decker and trolled up a few today, even the Crappie! BTW - I'm in a 19ft white side console Blue Wave.
