Seems as though the Zoom Brush Hog, more specificantly, the baby brush hog has evolved to be my favorite creature bait. I use both sizes and in watermellon/pepper or pumpkin colors most of the time and fish them in slightly stained water. I am wondering what colors you use for the brush hog or similar baits?

Watermelon seed or watermelon/pepper. Spike the tails with chartruese in stained water. Never even bought another color.

Do what Kingdad101 advised both are very good colors. The Watermelon Red has been my favorite in the Baby Brushhog. Something elese you may want to try is the Ribbit brand Frog, Zoom also has their own too. The watermelon and the watermelon Candy are very good. Use the frog without a weight. Cast next to the bank and wait about ten seconds, if no hit, roll in the frog at a fast pace and it will work like a buzz bait. I have had lots of success with these two plastics.

I only saw 7 different colors named other than watermelon/red.

Although there are a few more colors, the watermelon red has been a staple item in my plastics. This color produces many fish. I have a friend that fishes the FLW Tour and he also swears by that color. As a matter of fact, the only Brush Hog in my tackle box is the Baby brush Hog that is watermelon red.

My son likes the "Rootbeer" color and has caught fish on them but I like watermelon/red with the tips dipped.
