Well, I have been having different people test this bait out over the past 3-4 months. I haven't wanted to offer it yet, as I didn't want to get too busy during the summer. I don't really get into making baits until it starts to cool down outside. These baits have proven to be effective for the Stripers, Hybrids and Sandbass. The bait is really fairly skinny but has great action on it. I make several different baits, and you might wonder why. Really I probably only need to make 2, this one and the 180. Reason i continue to make the others, lot of customers out there still using the others. I wish I could put a figure on how many fish the TNT line of baits have put a licken on from the Texas/Oklahoma lakes over the past few years. This bait will be equally as productive as my others. The few people out there whom I have sold some to, have all come back to order more. So that told me a lot about them right there, along with my own testing. At this time I am only going to offer 2 colors. Char/White/Orange and Silver Holographic. I will probably add another color down the road. The sizes 1oz, 1.5oz and 2oz. I will have a pic of the 3 different sizes to show the differences in the baits along with a pic of the two colors. Here is a link to the page on my website where you can order them http://www.trollingnolanstackle.com/TNTHaymaker.htm Or if you like feel free to call me 580-318-1391 or email me bryonnolan@yahoo.com

I'm surprised your top two baits would the Haymaker and 180. I would think your top seller would be the Limit Gitter. I use the Limit Gitter almost exclusively because that is the style the guides use on Tawakoni. Bart

I am pretty lucky, I have tried this bait also and it is great. But the 180 is still favorite

Bart, the LG is still a great bait. I think a little over 1/2 of what I sell is the 180. The LG/Casting spoon are probably tied for my 2nd best sellers. They all work good. I think this bait has good action though for a skinny bait, which is why I dont think it will be long till it catches on and becomes a great seller. The 2oz one is deadly on the hybrids.

Well I guess I'll just order some more 180's then. Working at BPS I talk to people all day long about fishing. (I love it!) It is really interesting the to hear about the lures that people swear on and they have got to have THAT specific lure. For hybrids, stripers and sandies I tell them that I use TNT slabs and where to get them. But before that I used Holiday Slabs until the selection decreased after Robby Kinsey sold the marina. And after that I used Bomber slabs from BPS and Walmart. I haven't tried Lead Baby Slabs, which we carry also. Two guys came in yesterday and said they had just caught 40 sandies on Ray Hubbard and bought a handful of silver Castmaster Slabs because that is what they caught them on. Houdini worms, Rattlesnakes, the original chatterbait with a salt, pepper and chartreuse skirt. The Oriental guys are coming in and buying an 8 inch shallow diving crankbait that is producing at Texoma on the river...and it just goes on and on. We have 22,000 items just in the fishing department. Bart

Them Haymakers work boys. Byron sent me one to try with my last order of casting spoons a few months ago. Broke it out on Lewisville this afternoon. Well, I'll be ordering me some for sure. Thanks Byron!

We need to convince Bryon to make a more ' size and species specific' slab. One day I caught hybrids, stripers, sand bass, catfish, drum and gar on Limit Gitters. I would like to ONLY catch big hybrids and big stripers!

the haymaker works casting it out,let it fall and jigging it back to the boat on stripers/sandies.
