Fished Joe Pool today from about 3-6pm and found very limited fish. Tried from some LMB and didn't get anything to bite. So quite a few small bait fish schooling in some sloughs, but didn't see one white bass chasing them. Did I just miss them today? Threw some spoons around the humps by the power lines and didn't get 1 bite?

It has been slow out there after the front and they are releasing lot's of water.

Always watch the lake level. If its over a foot high, the gates are wide open and the fish go deep. XYZ did good prior to the rains.

where can I go to see if they are letting water out and how much via the dam each day? I am looking to hit both Grapevine and Joe Pool this week for some LMB and whites. Not sure which day to hit which lake and what time.

Here is the link I use. You can see the red line which is conservation pull. Notice how fast they pull water out of the lake? They dont do that on all lakes. http://waterdata.usgs.gov/tx/nwis/uv?cb_...ite_no=08049800I'll be out on Pool at least one afternoon this week, I'll let you know how I do.
