I had the pleasure of fishing with Robert his dad and friend Matt today on Ray Roberts. We ended up with a 75 fish limit but must have caught between 200 & 250 fish total for the day. Most of the fish came from small brush piles in and around 20' of water. We went through around 16 dozen minnows , we did catch a few off jigs but minnows were the best bait today. September is looking great for some super days of crappie fishing. Thanks Robert for a great trip. I am glad your dad had such a good time. Thanks again, Cliff Robert his dad and Matt with todays 75 fish limit.   Robert with a 1.4 pounder

Clif, what a great day for you and your fishing partners. Are you still based at RR marina? I hope to set up a trip with you soon to catch some creppie for the frying pan. I am completely out of fish and my wife is ready for me to restock the freezer.

Willard I am launching at the Pecan Creek ramp now, Its only about a mile from the house. I still have some open dates this month during the week, we can sure get you restocked.

You let me know when the big un's are really coming in to fatten up' and I may just go in for another split trip with someone if you still have those specials going on.
Down to my last bag after last night. Those were fatties I caught at LL Barge beginning of August.
