The absolute best Porterhouse 32 oz steak that this old man has ever flopped a fat lip over is at "TEXAS RED'S" in RED RIVER, NEW MEXICO! It was so juicy & tender, I could actually cut it up with a fork!!! It was 1 1/8 inch thick if my memory serves me right, the baked tater was huge & loaded just like I like it, ranch dressing on a tossed garden salad that came out in a trough!! LOL! Long Neck Coor's Light, about 8 of them, there was spicy roasted peanuts on the table while we were waiting for our food to come out, just peel'em & toss the hulls on the floor! It was an AWESOME meal, & was not that expensive either! That was the day that "DESERT STORM" started! It was a vacation I'll always remember, had so much fun!!

Keep your powder dry & don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes!!

Not that you will go to this one often, but if you are ever in the area of Truth or Consequences NM, you have to go to Los Arcos Steak and Lobster House. I know what your thinking and when the wife and I ended up there on the way home from Grand Canyon I thought the same thing, but it was magnificent!! Service was some of the best I have ever experienced and everything they plated was superb!!

Probably the saddest thing you will ever see is a mosquito sucking on a mummy, Forget it little friend!! :-(

Superior Mexican Grill in Shreveport,LA. If you ever go there to gamble look in up. On Pines Ave. I think. Anyway, best fajitas on the planet. You can just order the fajita queso and eat chips and homemade tortillas and not be able to walk out. And, carefull with the margaritas. They may not be the best ever, but they are STOUT!

One subnote: There is a college and med school not far from there. This place is THE Meat Market for hot college chicks if you are single in Shreveport. I'm not anymore, took the fiance there and she agreed about the food, but told me no more trips to Shreveport without her.
