I live a mile off a bad road in the mountains and some OXYGEN THIEF still managed to find my boat and steal the fishfinder. I was going to upgrade anyway to a garmin or lowrance fishfinder/gps. I had a humminbird. The question is if the transducer has to be replaced or are they interchangeble? Thanks

Not usually, but sometimes. Check out the Lowrance Marine website and then go the the LEI acessories site from there, and you can find out what will work with what. Most times, the connectors are different. I don't know about the HB.

They may be the same kHz but I'll bet they don't have the same connectors.
