I'm always curious about changing technology in the rod market. Has anyone tried this rod?

http://www.e21fishing.com/

Thanks

There "carrot stix" rods are made from actual carrot fibers. What will they think of next?

They aren't scheduled to be on the market until late December. I might would try one if they didn't want a fortune for them.link

their commercials are like a late night infomercial to me, kinda makes them look a little cheesy! but I do like Boyd Duckett and the way he carried himself when fishing against Clausen on the UMF!

Never seen one except on the net, but I'm going to buy one just to say I've got one.

I have a Airrus rod (457) that I love. And I have used the Ultra XL. Another beautiful rod. Ken Whiting seems to have brought over similar rods that he made with Airrus to E21. (the Pulse-R and Ultra XL). And he seems to like to keep the rods in a very, very nice price range. So I am pleased to see what he has done but I am soooo curious as to why he left Airrus.

I knew I could count on a couple of good comments from Stephen Mills and the Lake Fork legend Ken A...

Thanks guys.

I ordered one to try...the rep said it is lighter than the Kistler Helium and very strong...which is pretty impressive. I like the Kistler product so I hope this is comparable.

Chris, you will probably be very happy with it. Ken is a very stand up guy, and won 06 and 05 Icast with his Airrus Rods. So they should be of good quality. Don't know if he has the same warranty deal on these. On the Airrus, if you broke it, all you had to do was call him, and he would send out another immediately with a small box. You returned just the part of the rod in front of the real seat, and no charge to you.
It might of been 07 and 06 at Icast, he told me at the Classic in Ala. and I don't remember if 07 Icast was before or after. Getting old and forgetful
