Is it just me or is it a bit annoying trying to find fishing reports online. Type in a location and "fishing reports"....such as "Port Mansfield Fishing reports", and all you get is charter fishing guides. I understand that as a guide you are ALWAYS going to report you are catching fish. But this really makes it difficult to find honest reports. Just a bit of a rant. When looking for reports I don't need 200 webpage results for guides....I think they should ban that practice anyways.

Hey shhs97!

Between TFF, 360tuna, and 2Coolfishing sites, you should be able to find the reports you're looking for without having to do a Web search!

You might try www.tpwd.state.tx.us/fishboat/fish/recreational/fishreport.phtml
then just click the region of the state you are interested in.

In TFF under the heading "Saltwater Fishing" is 3 areas that have some fishing reports. I usually post mine in "Saltwater Reports". I went offshore from PA on Wednesday and Saturday last week. On both days we found blue water and grass patches about 2 to 3 miles east of the 26 mile rigs. We were not able to troll since the grass was so scattered that it constantly messed up the lures. However, on both occasions we caught as much mahi-mahi as we cared for by chumming them to the boat at big grass patches. We used cut mullet and squid for chum and bait. We saw a lot of undersized tripletails drifting on the surface. We caught two accidently but returned them to grow up.
