Hi all. Looking to do some bank fishing on LL in the little elm area. We just moved to this lake and would like to know if anyone has any drive-up spots on the north side over here by 380. Thanks all!

I know lot's of spots in town (since I lived there for 20+ years) but the 380 corridor doesn't have many drive-up spots left. The Navo bridge over Big Elm Creek is the closest thing to drive-up. I understand that the Corp has stopped people from driving down to the creek (so has the water level). Little Elm Park and the area off Lakeshore (north of Main St) have always proven to be good for me. Good Luck!!! fish

Boy, I sure appreciate your response! I have been looking everywhere for a place to drop a line around here. I live at navo and 380. Is Navo bridge on navo road? I followed navo all the way to fishtrap road, but there's nothing there. Well, thanks a bunch!

Anyone know if the Little Elm or Navo boat ramps are open again yet?

Do you know if the road leading to the ramp at Navo is open again yet, took a drive out there 2 weeks ago and they still had it chained up even though it looked dry.

It seems that this 'ramp' is on private property. The gates are chained because the owner doesn't want people out there anymore. Guess we're outta luck...

you talking about the Doe Branch boat ramp?

I will make a call to COE today and see what they have to say about it. I haven't been down there in several weeks.

I used it last week and it wasn't closed anymore, nor do I believe it is on private property. Denton county sherriff was doing paperwork in their car out there and just waved and smiled to me.

Nice try, nothing. If the 'ramp' is the spot I'm thinking of (just past the new elementary school) then my statement stands. There was a gentleman out there whom I asked about the closed gate and he said this was his poperty and not a 'public fishing hole'. He wasn't rude or anything, but either I don't know where this spot really is, or he was telling me a fib... I know doe branch park, but there really aren't any good spots there to bank fish... :-/
