Those things wreak havok on a home aquarium if you accidentally pick some up in coral. They'll make short work of fellow inhabitants, and have been known to crack aquarium glass.

It's sure a strange looking critter! How would one go about catching a bunch of them? I would like to try that recipe. Is it PC to eat the bait? lol

I was surfing the other day and got attacked by those little bitty sea lice things. I always thought that they were microscopic, but they are a bit bigger than that. They are about the size of a piss ant but clear. They look like a little bitty clear crab, pinchers and all.
I was wearing a pair of spandex underwear that I like to wear under my boardshorts when I am surfing. I got a whole mess of them stuck in those darn tights just as I was coming in. It was like having ants in my pants. I was freaked out when I put my hands down my pants to scratch my butt and started pulling out scores of these little clear crab things. They would raise their pinchers and snap just like a crab but smaller. That kind of sea lice sucks!!!

My sister and her family went down a couple of weeks ago and were bitten by the same small ant sized clearish crabish creatures. I have never seen or heard of these, any one know what they are?

Loopty, does this mean that when I come down to go crabbing with you I now have to specify blue crabs?
