Ouch is right. Anyone have a picture of this finger gitting lure called the miracle lure. Inquiring minds need to know. I need to stay away from it knowing the way accidents happen to me.

This is what the little demon looks like, both hooks were in the hybrid, then one was in me and the fish was free.
John, they literally cut the hook free from my finger, they ran a very fine scalpel down the hook and cut the meat free from both sides of the barb. I told them how the Doctor had removed the one in Kansas but they didn't want to injure the tissue.

It ain't easy making it look easy.

FastGuy, "my pud sucked up into my body cavity." that pretty much described what you experinced when the hook nailed your finger....right. LOL Man I hate to hear and see a guy get a hook. Sorry it happened to you. My condolences to your finger. Hey did Snaggin'Steve hook the same finger? Just curious. Hey thats not the middle finger is it? If so that photo maybe a statement as well. No I think it was the index after looking at the pic. Take care and heal fast...guy!

It was the middle finger, and that is a statement about slabs in general. I hardly ever use one, have gone literally months with out tying one on. But, ya gotta do what ya gotta do to catch them. The real pisser is there were fish stacked up and no other boats around, that was the second fish and the screen was still loaded argh.

It ain't easy making it look easy.

I'm still laughing about Redfin's comment about the Sumo Westler. That is funny. Good one.

I might suggest you prone-to-be-pin-cushions invest in a set of boga grips or something similar....just an idee. Don't come on here and make me suck it up again....

I leave you guys alone for a few days and look what happens. I'll review miracle lure usage at 9:00 AM the second Tuesday of next week at the feed store.

Thats why I use a Lindley's glove when handling fish. May take a little more time but its a whole lot safer. A trip to the ER costs you more time.
