I took my Sister and my Dad to RC today. We stayed on the main body of the lake even after being told that the fish were a ways up the Richland arm of the lake. Went to Pelican Island first and marked some fish. My Sister caught a "just under" sized Crappie and we caught some yellow bass and some nice Sand Bass. I decided to look at Ferguson Point (hope I spelled that right) and stopped on the way to check a spot out that I marked in the GPS. YUP fish! They were slow but we picked off one every so often. I caught a 20" Hybrid and Sister caught more Sand Bass and Dad got lucky and put some in the boat as well. Leanna hooked up on a Hybrid but it got away at the boat! Dang the luck! The fish were in about 25ft of water right off the bottom. All the fish bit a TNT chartruese 2oz. slab. Very windy out there and the wind took its toll on the trolling motor battery. We kept a few for the table and Leanna (my Sister) wanted to try a Hybrid.

Ran into Mark Parker in his new (to him) BayStealth...a fine looking craft!

Fun time for all wind or no wind! LOL
