Great news for Mike Leach fans: College Football Hall of Fame will lower win percentage in 2027 for coaches from 60 to 59.5 percent, which will make the former Mississippi State/Texas Tech/Washington State coach eligible to join the hall
He always had the players he had playing at the next level...

Leach and Mumme were true pioneers of what has become the modern era in football at all levels.
No way you can exclude Leach as a HOF inductee

Yes, I remember that game well. TT played a great game and won the game. I still say Lubbock is one of the hardest places to play at night, especially for a smaller stadium. Even when TT is having a down season.
As for Leach, I might be wrong but the guy had one 10-win season in his career.
