Anyone have first hand or knowledge as to attaching splasher to cc ladder ? Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated and considered !

I built this 4.5 years ago out of metal and had it powder coated. It’s for a Nautic Star. I will be building a new one later this summer out of aluminum and changing up the design a little. My ladder has one handle ! I was pondering plumbers tape attached to ladder holding 2x3 ????
