So the answer is no, right? No one has been?
Not in years. Christchurch was the destination. Then onto some fine hunting lodges. Wonderful wine, dining and fishing. Package hunts for Chamois, Himalayan Tahr and Red Stag were ~ $8-9k. 400” Stags were the Pinnacle. Nowadays they’re killing 1,000 to 1,600 inch Red Stag.
First-class, one-stop, round-trip airfare was $8-$9k. If airfare is $800 I’m going back!

Never been to New Zealand, but have been on the 20 hour flight to Singapore multiple times.
This is not a trip you want to be in coach. No amount of medication will make it good.
