Who has used an all in one washer and dryer? Trying to save the cost of electrician and plumbing work to run 220v, exhaust, etc. The all in one unit just needs water, a drain and 110v with no exhaust. Downside from reviews the drying takes longer.
I'm leaning towards taking the easy way out here and just plugging in one of these all in one things. Just trying to find out from someone who has used it whether or not I will be kicking myself in a few months for taking this shortcut.

I believe this is more of a European thing but I’ve seen more big names offering them here lately.

Laundromat doesn't have one. It's $8 for a big washer. $6 medium and $4 small. Dryer takes $2-$4.
Why doesn't a commercial place use them?

I've been eyeing one as well. We have a guest apartment in my large garage. Our youngest is living in it. The downside is there's no washer / dryer hookup. Heck limited space as well. With these all in one units, I have the perfect location for it, but I don't want to be a crash test dummy. AHAHHAHA

I wonder how long it will last ---- was it Maytag or Whirlpool that had Giant lawsuits over the intro of front loading washing machines ??
