Try this if you are trying to cut carbs. Bacon Cheeseburger in a bowl. Lettuce, tomatoes, chopped onions and 3-4 slices of chopped bacon onion with a mayonnaise aioli mixed together. Top it with a griddle brisket burger with your favorite cheese. We had all but quit eating burgers due to the bread, but this really taste great. We have them almost weekly. If you have to have the bun, then fix it like the bottom picture. I didn't want to fire up the grill, so I just made a hot dog sandwich a few minutes ago:
White bread
French's mustard
Dukes mayo
Dietz & Watson American Cheese
Mount Olive sweet pickle relish
sliced tomatos
Two Oscar Meyer bun length franks cut in half lengthwise
Made me forget all about burgers.
