Grapevine since the 70’s but rarely go there anymore.
Before I could drive did the 11 mile trip down old Hwy 157 on my bike 21 mornings straight one summer (after delivering the morning paper breakdance).

Some people go to church and think about fishing. Some go fishing and think about God.

I live less than 10 minutes from Murrell Park or Twin Coves Park so Lake Grapevine is my home lake at present.

Bachman. Seen the lake go through many cycles since I started fishing her in the 1980s.
They are done with the new skate park; which is great as Bachman had one of the first skate parks in Texas in the late 70s. Almost done with the new dam/spillway also. They lowered it about three feet while working on the dam; hopefully it fills back to full pool as it fishes better with more vegetation and rip rap in the water.
