He snuck that in there…

One of the reasons I have three 12 Ionics. Easier to deal with for the common man.

You’re lucky 72V to 36V did not fry it.

I am lucky, but I’m still in the same place I was.

Dead battery.

Spent hours google searching this. Will make time to call lithium hub tomorrow during business hours but that’s been tricky.

More info to come

This is what I learned! Glad you got it figured out!

My Ionic did the same thing and my Ionic charger wouldn't wake it up. Taku happened to be staying at the house and had a different charger that was able to wake it up. I would think that would be the easiest if you can get your hands on one.

What I have learned with having three 12 volt batteries is that if any of the three batteries or BMS's go down you still cannot run anything. Therefore, you have to rely on three BMS's working correctly instead of just one.

Well….you could throw a regular ol battery in its place and go fish. The benefit of three is when one locks up, a simple connection to another good 12v usually wakes it up. Ya know…..like one of the other batteries in your boat, or even your truck.

Update again.....

I called ionic. They confirmed you need a 36V to wake it up. They couldn't name me a nearby dealer in dallas, but I may swing by R&R this weekend in Pittsburg....will be there anyhow. Called a batteries plus (no 36v)

I think my charger is the problem but I wont know until I wake this thing up.

Ordered a $40 36V cheap charger on amazon just to have it and hopefully that does the trick tonight. If not, I am going to stop at academy and spend $400 on cheap batteries so I can go fishing this weekend.

Sure gives me the red A$$ when your top of the line equipment doesn't work.

You don't know anyone with a 36 volt trolling motor and a pair of jumper cables?

That’s what I’m thinking. Should be an easy way to wake it up.

Not sure where you will be this weekend but I’ll be on cypress springs and if you are close I can try to use jumper cables to wake up your battery. I run a 36v Terrova on lead acids

I had a BMS go bad and waking it up did no good. It would work intermittently but usually didn't work. It had to be warrantied. Can you mix a regular lead acid 12 volt in with the lithium's in series?
