I always enjoy several hummers here at the lake. This year, bees have taken over. I think they are ground bees. The bees have run my hummingbirds off. I have no clue where the bees live. Ill prob find out by accident. Any suggestiononkeeping the bees away. My technique now is fly swatter and beer. The bees absolutely cover the bee proof feeder up. I clean and change juice every 3 days. I can usually fill and it last a week.
Preciate any help.

I had a bu ch of early hummingbirds this year and now they are suddenly gone. I think I have a bee problem as well. I wish they would just die off already.

Ours left 2 days ago. Not sure why. I guess they had to move it along.

We had 2 or 3 hummingbirds so far, but my neighbor found one daid in his shop and I found a daid one in mine. They fly in these buildings and are too stupid to fly down and out the garage door they came in. Last year I rescued two with a pool net while standing on a step ladder.

Preciate any help. You know, without honeybees we'd all starve to death. I don't really worry about bees. Yellow jackets or ground hornets or maybe what you are calling ground bees ... nuke'em!
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it !

Preciate any help. I have had bee problems in the past, but they eventually left. I use the standard 1 cup of sugar to 4 cups of water. Any stronger seems to attract more bees.

We actually need all the bees we can get.

What kind of poison do you put in the bee trap? Whether they are a nuisance or not, bees are very important to this world.

I don’t think you should do anything to the bees. It’s just your turn to have bees. We need all the bees we can get. The hummers will find their space and when it’s time they’ll be back
