any one know how many entries they had?

From what I saw on the water it didn’t seem like many.

Someone needs to tell whoever is running this to NOT have it on the same weekend as Sealy Big Bass on Toledo Bend almost every year and they would probably double their turnout…?

I bought a boat in North Texas and drove it back home, no problems. Decided to take it to Possum Kingdom a couple weeks later. I blew out all 5 tires on that trip. 4 of them on a Sunday lol.

You never get that number on any of the big tournaments………

Most of the time they announce it on the radio during tournament hours and weigh ins. I never heard them say. That kinda tells me it was a low turnout. To me, and I fish out there a lot. The spawn had way more traffic on weekends than what I saw this weekend.

What won the tournament i listened to it on way to La but that didn’t last long.

11 something. Couple of 10's weighed in over the weekend as well.

Never heard a number of overall entries but it was less than previous yrs for sure
Talked to several people on the water who weren't even fishing the event
And there was a lot of clients with guides they had a big corporate shindig out there with 50+ people out there with guides
But it was still a pretty good weekend

11.27 caught on day 2. I had the privilege to net it.

There’s lots of reasons the tournament are hurting…

It sure didn't seem as crowded as years past. When I called to register earlier in the week Sue told me they had around 400 anglers in the early registration. Caught lots of slots and small unders. It was pretty uneventful until we were fishing the back of little mustang and heard somebody shooting in their yard. Next thing you know we had bullets whizzing by us. It's definitely a sound that will get your attention quick and one I hope I never hear again. We got out of that area quick.

like most of the big tournaments payout goes down an the entries follow it downward.
