In 1950 there were 866,00 Thousand people living in the greatest place on the planet. In 2025 there are 6,732,00 Million people living here. Makes me vomit.

I moved to Arlington from Grand Prairie in 1961 and the population was around 45000. Now it is at or above 400,000. Glad I am now in Mineola, population 4500 or so.

Let's not forget that much of this area elected the biggest embarrassment of the state (well, besides the Houston voters in years past) into Congress where she makes us all cringe every time that name pops up in the news. The big metro areas are filled with fools and those whose votes seem to be counted 100 times. They make us all look bad.

Moved out of the big city to the country hometown 289 nearest town to me 89.
