I'm sure that what I'm about to say will ruffle some feathers, but I really don't care. If I had the power to remove some technology from the fishing world, it would not be FFS, SI, nor DI. It would be, GPS and Mapping. We would go back to paper maps and triangulation. But if I had that power, we would not be commenting on here, because the internet would leave this world ,before the fishing subject was ever thought of. People younger than 45 probably won't understand. I do believe mankind, was far better off before the internet than we are today. But everyone has a right to their own opinion.

You have the whole BASS feeder chain too, Opens, College, I think they are in HS fishing too. Are they going to ban FFS at those levels too?

I'm surprised BASS would care that much what some of the washed up old guys have to say, you'd think what would drive them would be what is best for viewership, internet clicks, selling ads, and revenue generation. Makes me wonder of they are seeing a tail off in their business and looking for ways to stop the fall. If business is growing, they'd be nuts to go to some sort of ban on FFS.

I feel like every side of this is people beating their chest and see who's the loudest. Pretty terrible way to do business. If their subs are suffering yeah but they are still breaking records with crowds and viewership. If it's my business I'm listening to the people paying the bills. Pretty simple

Yep, opened the door when they all jumped to MLF. Some of those olds came back to BASS, and now they're complaining?

I'm thinking that some of this might have something to do with viewership. If its on tv and an angler is looking down at his graph for minutes on end, I'm gone. Yes, I'm an old but thats just down right boring.

That's true, this could be much ado about nothing. Blaukat is also making the same claim and even is saying BASS is doing this because of what he's had to say on the subject.

If people would just quit watching his video's he'd go away too.
