Cliff Pace weighing in 1-12 this morning and moved up thirty places…

That does make it entertaining.

True dat. There's a lot of guys that can move into the top 10 with one 4 lb. fish.

I fished a tournament several years ago in Louisiana and there were probably between 75 to 100 entrants. The lake was extremely over populated with dinks and the only tournament I fished where a huge majority of the entrants all weighed in 5 fish limits. The leader board was crazy. Almost every entrant on it had 6 pounds and change. Think there were 20 to 25 entrants on the board and obviously several ties. I had a 6 pound limit too but this was a flooded cypress forest and I got lost coming back and didn't get to weigh, by the time I got to the weigh in they were packing up to take it all home. I often wondered how I would have placed.

Luke Palmer already has a limit. 5 for 3-12.

I guess I am the minority. I love these grinder tournaments and feel like the top level of bass fishing should have at least 1 to 2 of these each year. Number 1, it is relatable. Lake Fork wasn't realistic for 99.9999% of people on here or anywhere. Number 2, this type of tournament requires a different skill set. I am not an FFS hater, but I do believe watching these guys struggle "just fishing" humanizes the sport a little bit. I don't watch these things to watch other people catch fish, I watch them in hopes I can learn something that will help me catch fish. JMO.

Definitely relatable... Looks like a typical bass tournament on the Ohio River... It'll make you question your ability... But you hit the water next time you get a chance... Here's hoping Bill Lowen and Alex Redwine can draw on their past experiences and pull out a good finish... Dan

This sounds like us on the Red River. I hate that place.

It really is. You know how hard it is to hook a 12”, 3/4poundef? !! Tap tap tap…..wiggle…..tap tap tap. They will make you look like your having a turrets episode.
