I think this is the best answer I see tons of very good lawn equipment on Facebook Marketplace not give away prices but very reasonable in comparison to new equipment prices. Lots of folks give up doing their own yards after buying nice stuff definitely worthwhile. We buy some stuff here and there on FB Marketplace never had any problem.

Correct answer.

Add up the cost of the mower. Divide by an ever-shorter modern day life expectancy. Add in fuel, oil, repairs. Then factor in the cost of your time, plus lost fishing time. Lastly factor in Texas heat and humidity. Use this to get a "true" cost per mow. Then realize you are better off to hire it out.

If you out in the BFE, great. Hire the neighbor kid, even better.

Personally I enjoy doing yard work I do all mine and get paid a little to do 2 houses across the street. I may not be able to do all this too many more years but for now I enjoy seeing them done right plus it is my view from our house.

I got a guy who does the old house until it sells. Half acre lot used the rider on. This yard is too complicated for a riding mower so it’s easier to just knock it out with the push mower. Add the slope to the canal that’s weed eater only, and nobody wants any part of it.

I would.
Herd of goats kept the liberty hill in proper order.
But turn into lizard lunch around here.

I’m not sure the math adds up. It’s way cheaper to diy a lawn, particularly if you have a small enough area you can push mow.

Do you have to print out paper tags for a boat?
