Friend of mine was walking a Port Aransas beach recently and found a washed up plastic-wrapped package. She knew what it was from 80's TV and movies and called the Sherriff's office. When they showed up they put on full hazmat gear to collect it. They explained that this isn't common, but not exactly uncommon, either. Also, lots of the cocaine they've found has been laced with fentanyl. They're afraid the fentanyl may leech through the plastic wrap ending up on the hands of whoever touches it. So, if you're walking the beach and stumble across a washed up key, don't touch it! Just a heads up. Have a happy and SAFE Summer!

Meanwhile, there’s an alligator warning around some areas of Florida right now. The advice on the news was to avoid contact with alligators and don’t feed them. You gotta be a special kind of stupid to feed or contact an alligator

Touching fentanyl isn’t gonna hurt you. Just don’t pick it up and put it in your mouth. Lol. Kinda like Cheech and Chong. “Lick it, smell it, taste it….just don’t step in it”’

Thanks, but I do not go to the beach. I HATE sand and grit. There is a reason we have nice clean, swimming pools that don't stick to you or bite you.

We're leaving tomorrow for several days in Gulfport and Destin. I'll make sure I walk behind everybody else on the beaches.

The wife loves the beach though. We went to Orange Beach, Alabama last year and it was nice. I just like to check out the bikinis.
