Wow! It's amazing what early morning clouds and cooler temperatures will do for fishing.
Fishing this morning was best I've seen in a long time. The cloudy skies hung around until almost 10:00 helping all us poor fishermen out. The wind was from the south which also helped.
Everyone I could see was catching limits of hybrids and sandies. The lure didn't seem to matter either. It didn't even ruin our day for trollers to troll among us.
While talking with a stranger about the morning, he caught a huge hybrid. About the time his hit, I caught one. We repeated this action for several minutes until 8 hybrids were caught in that spot. And this was without surface activity at that time.
All in all, they hung around the surface for over two hours.
Wild Bill was even catching hybrids on his birthday. I told him I arranged all this hybrid action to help him celebrate and have a happy birthday.
Snaggin' Steve was killin' them as well.
It's days like this that can help erase those 100degree days from one's mind.
Hopefully, tomorrow will be just as good.

I started to come down that way this morning, I figured it would be good. Instead I had the day off so I slept in. I have since been mowing the yard. What Fun!!

Why couldn't the fishing been that good last weekend when I was there?? Karry I now know why you were not out there last weekend! You knew the fish wasn't biteing so you slept in. Matbe I can come up again and get a cooler full. Hope to see you next time.

Sounds like you guys had a fine Friday AM. I'm high and dry these days with no boat. Both are in the shop. I'll be back out there one of these days.

I wondered where ole Fuzzy was. A man with two boats and both are out of service. Doesn't sound like a fun day.
