I've probably mentioned this before. Youngest grandson is here, he's going on 2 yo. So he's in the bedroom with me because that's where the big screen tv is and I can keep an eye on him.
What a disgusting, sissy, no guts line up of shows they have for kids! Where are Heckle and Jeckel, Popeye, Olive, and Brutus, Mighty Mouse, etc. It's tough trying to dig up old 3 Stooges shows too.

Sponge Bob is actually kinda brutal. Plus it's funny.
Don't doubt the violence of Sponge Bob. The craziest MF'er under the sea.

There are tough kids and sissies in every generation. Don't think the percentages have changed much over time.

Kids as far as the sissy percent, are probably the same, but there is no doubt the cartoons of today are sissified compared to the ones back in the day. The days of Elmer going hunting and shooting a rabbit and a duck are over.

It's not the cartoons. There are some insanely violent Japanese Anime ones these days that make Elmer look like a wuss.

President Kennedy began the Physical Education regimen in our schools systems. The bureaucrats eliminated that long ago.

They had two atomic bombs dropped on their heads. Cartoonish, extreme violence in that culture prepares the youths for the severe brutality that can be unleashed on one human being from another.

I really dislike the Japanese cartoons with the freakish enormous big eyes on the characters. Starting to see that leak over into the animated commercials on TV.
