I think there's a decent chance the combo of CD and Pickens makes things difficult on defenses. I've been saying for years what Dak needed was somebody to stretch things out so he could work the mid-level area better. Cooks was never it IMHO, but Pickens might be.

Dak has also shown us he needs a stud RB, I sure hope Blue is the guy.

Dak will need a top tier Oline with the bum ankle and hamstring.
Be prepared for Dan Marino type mobility until the end of his career.

You gotta have one or the other to open up the 8-10 yards downfield area. You either have to have a running game to bring LBs down or a WR who can run to pull safeties out. It's borderline impossible to move the ball against good teams if they can bunch up all their LBs and safeties in one zone from 5-12 yards from the LOS.

I dunno how much shottenheimer will be able to do with it, but Pickens may be the best downfield weapon Dak has ever had IMHO. We'll see...

One thing all great QBs (Brady, Manning, Montana, etc.) are able to do is utilize that mid-range area effectively. If Dak needs help to do it, then so be it. But if Pickens really does open that area up, I could see it having an enormous impact on the team. I mean he's not Randy Moss, but he's a heck of a player and for what they paid for him, I'll take it.

I don't like Philly but I do like Hurts. Good player, seems like a decent human.

I have an ex whose job required her to travel weekly all over the US... She had something positive to say about every city that she went to. She was a very positive person.

Philly what's the one place she found no redeeming value in. She hated it. And she literally had been to every major city and most of the mid-size cities in the country... Including Hawaii and Alaska.
