WHO oversaw those that were determining these "answers?"

100% true. Cars have also been a net positive on society. Unfortunately, people die in car crashes everyday.

I use a plastic plate in the microwave everyday, but I am watching the microplastic issue as more research is done. I recently stopped used a plastic water bottle and got a stainless steel bottle. Synthetic clothing,paper receipts, sunglasses, literally impossible to get away from microplastics in America, but the jury is out on what effects - long and short term - they have, or what people can do to get them out of their systems (evidence points to sweating them out, especially in a sauna, helping quit a bit).

Heck, I’m still enjoying my 40 year old Nintendo gaming console, it’s all plastic.

Almost everything in our life are made from petroleum and plastics. HDPE. LLDPE or polypropylene.

Ground venison, breakfast sausage, fish, & dove all go in ziploks. Roasts, link sausage, backstraps, & loins all vacuum packed. Ziplok will just be the beginning. Next lawsuit will be against vacuum bags.

I do microwave food on hard plastic plates but never in Tupperware containers or in a baggie.

Of all the things I worry about killing me ..

Plastic is not on the list.
