Looking to make a purchase a lock for the ball hitch of a boat trailer. I read reviews on some brands and it seems the biggest issue centers on 1) how easily they can bypass use of a key to unlock and 2) keys fail to work well.
Your experience and recommendations appreciated. Best to share a link if possible.
Thanks !

I just use a plain old Master Lock... If they want it they'll get it... Probably the best thing you can do is use ramps that have a lot of traffic... Dan

These work good. They might be harder to defeat? I have one. I use it at places like Venice where we leave the trailer parked for a week. Plus you can use it on other stuff like a ATV.

I bought an amplock. It's beefy as heck. Not sure you can break it with a sledge. Think you'd have to cut it and it would take a while if you wanted to defeat it. https://www.amplock.com/en-us
