Nice fish Chuck. Let me know when dinner is ready! food

Side Note: I think I have been seeing some carp in spawn mode. I have seen them chasing and slamming each other close to the shore line on a couple of waters bodies I am fishing on. It sounds like some huge bass exploding on a top water bait. Are carp spawning right now?

If they are crashing the banks, they are spawning.

100 percent right 👍

Thanks Curtis and Curt0407 for the replies. cheers Curtis. I heard carp spawn differently on different water bodies. I have seen them on a couple of water bodies I fish crashing the banks. thumb

How does a rising lake affect the spawn? The carp were just starting to crash the banks at my local lake when it rained several inches causing the water to rise and get muddy. This shut off all carp activity along the shore. The water is now clearing up, but no sign of carp. I wonder if there will be a spawn this year?
