Another thing. Why do the Astros always send the runner home when he is on 3rd base, there is less than 2 outs and there is no force play? In this scenario, if you hit to an infielder, take the out at first. They got a reversal on an out call at home today, but most of the time you are a dead duck at home. The Astros get thrown out at home in this situation all of the time.

Hunter Brown now 6-1 on the mound for the Astros with a 1.48 era. Pretty dang good!

Astros have 0 hitters in the starting line up batting over .300 and most in the .220 range. Hitting is trash.

Hitting is a HUGE FACTOR in winning. Without good hitting it will be a long tough season. On the bright side, the Astros beat the Reds last night 3-0. Go Stros. rockon

I think Lance McCullers needs to pay the Astros back for stealing. Apparently, he claims that fans are threating his family after yesterdays start. I'm not certain how credible this is, but I think he is playing the victim mode. This dude has found a way to get paid without performing (working).

Astros are 19-19, a mediocre team. We are 38 games into the season. By game 50, you are what your record says you are. Time to get serious Astros.

Who thought that subtracting Kyle Tucker and Alex Bregman from a lineup that in recent years lost Carlos Correa and other homegrown talent was going to result in anything other than a struggling offense? To replace them you go out and get two third basemen, Paredes and Smith. Paredes is a career .235 hitter and Cam Smith is a rookie. You bring in Walker, another aging first baseman whose career is clearly on a downhill slide. It's like their moron GM didn't learn anything from the Carlos Abreu disaster.

I don't know why any opponent would ever throw a strike to Altuve or Alvarez. Who is consistently going to make you pay for pitching around them?

Dana Brown has to be the worst general manager in baseball. Also, I don't want to hear how Houston couldn't pay to keep its talent. The Dodgers and Yankees sign every big time free agent available. L.A. signs Ohtani from the Angels, Freddie Freeman from Atlanta, Mookie Betts from Boston, and basically anyone else they want. The Astros won't even re-sign the players they already have. "Couldn't" and "wouldn't" aren't synonymous terms.
