Who eats them, who likes them?

Just finished a can of smoked ones. I'm just inside my window for my intermittent fasting diet and my roast won't be ready for a couple of hours and it smells so good I got hungry. They hit the spot !

I've eaten them since a kid. Dad would eat them. Mom never touched them.

The mustard flavor is a favorite. Tomato, No. Plain, I prefer them in oil not the water.

The canned mackerel is a hardy meal. That's what you put the hot sauce on.

Sardines are good food.

Shad are not meaty enough. Mud minnows (Killifish) are pretty good.

Love sardines of any flavor and any brand. Hot sauce, mustard, tomato sauce. Love smoked oysters in a can too.

As a kid, ate them all the time. Mix in some fresh pico de gallo and munch on with saltine crackers. YUM!!! Don't do it so much because wife does not want me to have dragon breath.

Mix either sardines or mackerel in the shrimp flavored Ramen noodles.

That's where it's at.

Smoked herring is where it's at. I've been eating these for many years on cracker, sharp cheddar slice and pickled jalapeño on top. Best snack in the world.

I like the tomato sardines with crackers. Haven't had them in a while, seeing this thread will change that.
