If you are at a 4 way and there are 50 or 100 cars behind you like the line leaving school drop off for example and there is nobody coming from any other directions as far as the eye can see, there are 2 proper ways to handle it. 1. Tap and go quickly, not how I do it but I get you want to sorta look legal and fear the lawman. 2. Roll right through so as to get as many people behind you also through so they can get on with their day also. (How i do it). If you pull up and stare blankly up and down the clearly empty other 3 ways for 20 seconds like a kid taking their driver's test you are an arse wipe. That is all.

Only time I use both feet. Left to show brake lights and right to roll through.

Anytime I am at a four way stop, I assume I have the right of way!

I try to avoid 4 ways but a 3 way sounds interesting.

4 way stops always feel like the Good, Bad and Ugly stare down scene. If anyone hesitates I just go because apparently they weren't paying attention to know it's their turn.

One by house I what the people do is go immediately after the person in front of them. They assume since they stopped behind the car that was at the sign- that’s counts for their stop. I’m talking when it’s busy from all directions. I have to use my horn there all the time.

A fine example of why the traffic circle is superior.
