so if they fought a conventional war I would assume India has the advantage given the populations of each. thoughts? India trounces them. They've got the advantage in people, equipment, and budget, by a wide margin in every area. In fact, it's so lopsided it's hard to imagine Pakistan would even engage in any meaningful way. They cannot win.

Modern conventional warfare, even if you have the numbers and technology, can be a real struggle.....especially in difficult terrain and now with cheap, easy to learn modified attack drones.
Several obvious recent examples: USA in Afghanistan and Russia in Ukraine.

War is a messy thing- look at Ukraine and Russia- things aren’t always as they seem. I don’t know that India can control Pakistani airspace so it just gets to a point where who can suffer more

The problem with just conventional weapons and armies vs armies is that a large number of the Muslim nations may rally around Muslim Pakistan.

The problem with just conventional weapons and armies vs armies is that a large number of the Muslim nations may rally around Muslim Pakistan. Part of the irony here is that far north India is about 40% Muslim. This is not simply an emotional religious feud. When the Brits carved up the region prior to relinquishing their administrative powers; they created a mess of natural resource, economic, and trade route chaos and imbalance.

Interns from India are taking all the tech jobs at software companies in the US. When you hear about tech layoffs, they are replacing them with a lot cheaper labor force with degrees.

Have you visited the UTD campus recently? There is/will be no shortage of well educated computer technology folks around here.

Apparently, the two countries just had a massive aerial dog fight involving over 125 jets. They never crossed country boundaries but they were firing missiles at each other from 100 miles away.

They are job hopping and short terming though. There is little quality to the work, and 0 ownership in their work culture. They will lie to your face when you call them out and never accept any responsibility. There are many tech jobs that are revaluating the cheap labor aspect as it seems to cost more to work with cheap labor.
