Anyone else experiencing the scum on boat after fishing Fork? Fished for 6 hours and had to clean it off my boat. White hull and now I am going to have to buff the boat to get it all off.

You own a white boat and don't know about Starbrite hull cleaner?

Don't pay the price for Starbrite. Starbrite is just watered down Muriatic acid with a big price tag. Buy a gallon of swimming pool miuriatic acid and mix it 50/50 with water. Soak a rag with the mixture and run the rag over the stain. The stain will disappear with one swipe.

No grass, no filter, just another little East Texas mud hole. I use the yellow stuff in a spray bottle from dollar general. You need a bit of elbow grease, but it's a whole lot cheaper than starbright. Thanks for the tip on acid. I'll have to check the price on that.

If you do this, put water in your mixing container then add the acid to it. Very important. It does work well, but that stuff is just concentrated hydrochloric acid and can be dangerous if not handled or mixed correctly. I would also recommend wearing latex gloves and probably eye protection while using this as well.

Does any of these cleaners harm or deface aluminum trailers?

Birch
I have used a mixture of paint thinner and powdered laundry detergent before. I don't remember the formula but works well. This time I used dish soap and scum came right off.
