Does that water make it to Ivie? Or is that downstream.

Water from Twin Buttes and Nasworthy flow to Ivie via the Concho. The river is less than a mile north of my house.

We got several inches yesterday. There was no rain in the forecast, but they were wrong. Now we're getting more.

@tmd, you need a sump and release that water into the street. Your lawn is probably slushy now. Fun times.

I am 100 miles east of TMD and we had over an inch and it was our first good rain in several months. Glad to have it!

That low area extends into my neighbors yard and well into the churches property behind me. Only does it when we get a hard downpour and usually is soaked into the ground a few hours later. I'm sure when I go home for lunch it will almost all be gone. Now if we get back to back storms then it sometimes takes a day or so

Cool, at least it works itself out. Had a portion of our yard that didn't drain, had to make my own drainage with building it up and sending the water to a proper location.

Hard to tell in the picture but from my patio to the back fence its 110' and almost 150' across. I thought of having some top soil brough in to raise it up but it would take several dump truck loads. Not work the effort for as little as it does it (maybe 2 or 3x a year)

FYI,

Took a trip to Kerrville Sunday from Liberty Hill. Both San Gabriels, Sandy Creek and Pedernales are all dry. Upper Guad wasn't moving.

I am getting dumped on right now. Gauge says 2.5" so far.

Just about every ten years for North Texas and the Red River.
2025
2016
2002
1996
1991

Then typically followed by two the three years of drought.

It just thundered. Fort Hood played something over the loud speakers. "Kiss your butt goodbye", or "It's all clear".

I guess a person could flip a coin...Your house is ether in the air, Kansas style, or it's safe to go to Wal-Mart.

50/50.
