I watched an oriental lady eat a pound of crawfish , she did not remove the shell from the tails. Dang that is a much thicker shell as well, I would think your body could not even digest a shell that thick. She probably eats fish scales as well.

I eat everything but the head on shrimp. There’s no time to waste when there’s a delicious pile of shrimp you just pulled off the grill and your kids are trying to eat them all up before you can even get the plates out the cabinet.

Heck no. Save all the shells up and make a seafood broth. Texas de Brazil makes a fish soup that is to die for and I make it a couple times a year. It requires fish stock, and I use the broth for that. Goodness it is good. I have to pray not to commit gluttony when I make a batch. It is sinfully good.
