It’s a bug, just sqush it

Here is what the little darlins look like at night using a black light/UV flashlight. Easy to spot.

Picture this. Me and the wife are laying in bed. She's asleep. I'm watching TV and out the corner of my eye. I spot the tail.


It's crawling off her shoulder and on to her chest. Heading to her throat area.

I grab it making a fist. It begins to repeatedly light me up. I'm squeezing as hard as I can...And during this, the wife is awake and is freaking out thinking I was trying to grab her.

It fell off the ceiling and on to her. Texas scorpions...

Is that you, Edward Abbey?

I'm serious. The second I spotted it, I grabbed it. Didn't want it stinging the wife.

I threw it to the floor and stomped it.

Red ants suck!!! I have been fortunate enough to avoid a scorpion sting.

Wasps, red wasps, and hornets all hurt all the devil as well.

I would for sure take a scorpion sting over getting lit up good by the ants.

I lived in company housing when I was in my early 20's, them scorpions were plentiful there. I have been stunk several times. Once I came home and didn't put my pants on the chair in the bedroom. When I put them on there was a scorpion in them . Got me about 6 times on the back of my leg. To this day I still shake out my pants before I put them on. Yes they do hurt, Feels like a lit cigar and hurts for a few hrs.

Same thing happen to us . The scorpion landed on her back, I just swatted off her back . It landed on the floor and I squished it

Killed a couple already this year. Sprayed last week, I’ll be spraying every month or so from now until next winter. Got stung a couple years ago in bed on the inside of my thigh. Man that hurt. Thankfully it stung before it crawled any farther up my leg.
