School year is almost over! Just a few more weeks!  And then I will be Athens bound! Down here in the Rio Grande Valley I haven't found any decent place for slabs so I have bee amusing myself chasing channel cats. Longing for the THUMP! I will spend a few weeks in Athens in the tube chasing the big slabs and then head to the CO high country for my annual pilgrimage to trout country. Seriously considering retiring after the end of next school year. Time will tell. Cheers Y'All.

Congrats on your upcoming retirement and an early welcome to East Texas.... Thank you but the wife and I have been in Athens for nearly 12 years. I took a teaching job in the RGV but Athens is still home.
